The Temple Brotherhood is the men's service organization for Congregation Ahavath Chesed. Temple Brotherhood offers men a unique opportunity to network and form friendships with other men of the Temple, while serving the larger Temple community. We provide critical support services throughout the Temple, as well as offering social, recreational, spiritual and personal growth opportunities for members.

Brotherhood TIR Watch
Brotherhood performs a TIR Watch program during school hours. The TIR Watch group focuses on awareness, as a means of safeguarding the Temple and our TIR students by groups of parents. All brotherhood volunteers will receive a t-shirt to wear while on patrol. We would love to have more volunteers, especially TIR parents. If you are interested in supporting TIR in this very important endeavor, please email brotherhood at TempleBrothersJax@yahoo.com
As usual Brotherhood plans a full schedule of events for 2011-2012, which will include our breakfasts with insightful and thought provoking speakers as well as the customary array of breakfast delights, Dinners with the Rabbi (wonderful informal & off the cuff discussions led by the Rabbi) and business/social meetings, as well as some off-site activities.
If you would like to volunteer to help at our breakfasts, Dinners with the Rabbi or assist in the taping of Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, please contact a Board member.
Suggestions for activities/programs are always welcome. If you are new to our congregation or simply wish to become involved with Brotherhood please contact one of our board members or leave your name and contact number(s) at the Temple office.
